Kursus Diploma Pengurusan Awam (DPA) merupakan satu kursus wajib yang dirangka khusus bagi memberikan latihan dan pendedahan yang komprehensif kepada pegawai baru Perkhidmatan Tadbir dan Diplomatik (PTD) Gred M41. Semenjak diperkenalkan pada tahun 1977 sehingga 1992, kursus DPA merupakan salah satu syarat melayakkan calon memasuki perkhidmatan ini. Kursus DPA telah dijadikan sebagai salah satu daripada syarat pengesahan jawatan para pegawai PTD lantikan baru mulai 1994.......

The 11th Civil Service Conference

Earlier this weekend, the 11th Civil Service Conference was held in INTAN Mont Kiara. I was invited to attend the 2-day conference, officiated by Dato' Seri Najib Tun Razak, Deputy Prime Minister.
As a young officer, I accepted the offer with much delight as this was a chance for me to see top guns of civil servants in action, discussing on matters relating to Human Capital. I wanted to hear how they address the public's critics on bureaucracy and service delivery efficiency. I am sure as citizens of Malaysia, we've heard enough critism on the government's way of dealing with things, from IC MyKad, scholarships, unemployment, bribery, and many other things
